Do you believe in UFO's?
One of my earliest memories is of lying on my back on top of the garden wall gazing up into a clear star studded sky and wondering what was really out there.
So in 1953 when I was just fifteen it seemed like the answer to my wonderings when George Adamski and Desmond Leslie published their joint venture, 'Flying Saucers Have Landed'. It was a totally fascinating read dealing with Roswell and all the clues that the space visitors left behind in the ancient world. I felt that at last I was an authority on the subject. I couldn't wait to get back to school after the summer hols to enlighten all the guys about the true nature of things.
Unfortunately, I was a bit ahead of my time and was laughed out of court in a most deflating manner.
They just wouldn't listen to the warnings and now look where we are with the whole place just swarming with Darleks, Cybermen and Klingons.
I have been disc-overed. Ex-term-in-ate! :O)
Maryemm, you're not fooling anybody. Just take the sink plunger off your head and go and make a nice cup o' tea.
That made me laugh!
