Hallo Joan, It was nice to hear from you. Brown's of Chester has been taken over by Debenhams and has lots of other retailer shops within its building. Did you live in Chester for a while?
We moved from Chester last September and now live in Highcliffe in Dorset, (near Christchurch). We moved to downsize from our family house to a small bungalow and to be nearer to our children and grandchildren, as we are now in our Eighties and our previous garden was too big for us to manage comfortably..
I read your query about 'Constance' whom Mary keeps asking for. I do hope someone among Sixtyplusurfers may recognise her from your description and get in touch with you. Maybe if you said which University she and Mary studied at, that might help jog a memory?
It is very difficult looking after someone with memory problems, I know from experience.
