I would love to win this beautiful chair as it would fit in very nicely in my bedroom which has mainly original 50's furniture in it from my younger days - the colour is perfect, as is the chair.

I often let my mind take me back to days of old gone by
Recalling cherished memories when the children were little, oh, how the years do fly
It then takes me to my days spent as a nurse, the rewards of the job were immense,
My childhood, and a 1,000 more thoughts of happy times, not so happy and middle of the road, if that makes sense
I do a lot of thinking, since illness took a hold
My mobility may not be the best, and my eyesight could be better, truth be told
But, i do love to gaze into my garden, and watch the squirrels as they play
Robins, blue tit, pigeon, finch, as they visit the birdhouse, then gracefully go their way
We are so, very lucky to live within our local park
To hear the morning birdsong, then of an evening as it gets dark
So, as i treasure what i have now, and no regrets of not
I'm blessed to have such beautiful memories, to be thankful for my lot
But, oh my goodness the happiest of treats it would certainly be
as i sit and stare
To have the comfort and luxury of my bottom placed firmly in the beautiful Oyster chair.

Oh I absolutely love this!

We recently lost our home and have had to start again. I feel like I've gone back 30 years and had to start from the beginning once more. BUT we are staying positive and have just secured our next (hopefully forever) home. We are starting to see that everything happens for a reason and are ready to get stuck in to making the new place feel like ours.

HOWEVER me and the other half do slightly disagree on furnishings and I have been adamant I want at least part of the house to reflect the confidence and boldness we've gone into this new stage of our lives with.

So I have proposed a coloured sofa to which he's not a huge fan of the idea. We made an agreement that if I could somehow get one for under £10 (charity shops, someone throwing one away etc) then he will allow me to have my bold sofa.

Well, this is the perfect opportunity to get my pink chair without spending more than a tenner! That'll teach him for underestimating me! :)

Such a beautiful accent chair, My eye was drawn as i have been dreaming of saving up for such a chair, its a long story...... last year was very tough, I had to leave my husband because of his infidelity, and a month later found out he was a bigamist, such a dreadful shock, I really only feel the last couple of months I have started to settle, but one of the things to help me move on, has been to change my bedroom, to out memories and give me a fresh outlook and create a calming space to rest in, the colour scheme has been grey and white, with soft pink accents, I recently bought some dusky pink and green hilda hogden flying birds, delightful ! The main thing i need now, is a pink velvet chair for my dressing table, hence this caught my eye, so yes, we would be loving and grateful new owners for your lovely giveaway...........Many thanks and good luck to everybody x

I've recently moved to a first floor flat; I have one armchair and I'm making a window seat but this lovely chair would be a fantastic addition - I'd like to have it for the little book corner that I'm going to create because as well as being stylish and pretty it looks really comfortable. I love reading and get a lot of second hand books from charity shops as well as borrowing regularly from the library. I'm acquiring 2nd hand book cases and painting them so that they match each other - to have such a beautiful brand new chair would enhance the scheme as well as my comfort!

Would love to win this stunning chair for my mum; she's not very well and has been feeling down lately so it would be lovely to be able to treat her to something so beautiful that I know will warm her heart and bring back her lovely smile.

I would love to win this chair for my daughter. As you know it’s very difficult and expensive setting up you first home especially on your own.

I would love to win for my daughter.  She has just bought a rug and some cushions in exactly this shade.

A very prosaic reason for wanting to win this lovely pink chair but our computer chair, which is much too large for our tiny office (which also holds a clothes drier amongst other things), is shedding it's 'leather' and no longer adjusts up and down.  A blanket thrown over it hasn't solved the problem and all the upstairs floors are constantly covered in black debris.  Soon it will be bald and I may be too if I continue to tear my hair out.

this is stunning and would be perfect in our new flat, and match the carpets and bedding perfectly.
