How to remove scratches from car headlights and watch glass.

Put a small amount of toothpaste on a damp sponge and rub the scratched area in a circular motion. Dont rub too hard though! Let it sit for about a minute then wipe the area dry with a soft cloth. Voila, as good as new.

To suck up hard-to-reach areas under your fridge etc. insert an empty paper towel roll into the end of your vacuum cleaner and bend, or flatten it, to squeeze into these difficult spots.

To clean a mucky microwave put half a lemon into boiling water in a jug, cook for four minutes then use the ( cooled ) lemon to wipe down the microwave and finish with a damp cloth.

Don't throw away the lining of cereal boxes. Cut the lining into discs to separate homemade burgers before freezing.

Fruit Flies are always a pest in summer here's a little tip to help get rid of them.

Place a little piece of ripe fruit in a jar, roll a piece of paper into a cone shape and stick it into the jar, placing the narrow opening down into the jar The fruit flies will be drawn in, but won't be able to get out.
