I would give this to my future daughter in law , she works constantly. For the NHS, still has her wedding on hold due to covid. And to make it worse she moved in with my son, put all her stuff in storage, but the warehouse burnt down and because it was only a few weeks did not take out the insurance, it must get better for the Young couple soon
My husband and I had Covid-19 last March. We still feel the effects of long Covid, but luckily our tastebuds have returned just in time for tea! Delicious savoury treats, light as a feather cakes and scones, and fragrant Earl Grey tea, all delivered to our door, would be living proof for us that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
It is our 50th wedding anniversary this spring so I would love to share this special afternoon tea with my husband as due to the horror of Covid our plans to celebrate have had to be forgotten.
I'd be thrilled to win this lovely treat for my mum who is my absolute hero. She has recently retired after over 30 years working as a home-help - caring for sick, elderly and vulnerable people. Carers do such a vital job and yet vastly underpaid and under-valued by society. It is horrible to think that one day you or I might need a carer, but if we do, I sincerely hope it is someone as kind and loving as my amazing mum.
Afternoon tea is our absolute favourite pastime and we are missing it so much! One of our last outings before shielding for the past year was to go out for afternoon tea. Although we try to replicate the afternoon tea experience at home, there would be something so special about receiving it ready made - what a delightful treat that would be!
I would love to win this afternoon tea to share with my husband. He retired just before the first lockdown last year and expected a rest, but that hasn't been the reality! As a key worker I had to work all through the year, putting in extra hours where needed, leaving Nigel to 'keep home' and prepare and cook all of our meals. I was made redundant a month ago, but he continued his help in the home while I looked for work. Happily, I started back to work this week - so the afternoon tea would be a celebration for me as well as a thanks to him.

During lockdown my 91 year old neighbour has not been able to go out or see anyone, so I would love to win this to give her a treat she so deserves, on a sunny afternoon on my patio. A chance to be cheerful & some interesting chat at last xx
I would love to win so that l can take a delicious tea camping when lockdowns lifted to make my alfresco meals special x
My next door neighbour has been incredible, looking after me/shopping for me when I have been unable to get out ... I would love to be able to invite her for a wonderful afternoon tea to just, in some small way, say "Thank you" to her!
